I don't think Jason & The Argonauts is a horror movie. Nor is The Time Machine.
Now with that said, I love this artwork!:D (Big Grin)

Excellent artwork! Who's the topless chick next to Jaws?
Harnois75 Featured By Owner Nov 24, 2014  Professional Traditional Artist
Hi, thanks. The topless chick is the character Trash from The Return of the Living Dead.

Keeping some back for a possible part two, there's plenty that could be included.. Claude Rains Invisible Man, Rosemary's Baby, The Hills Have Eyes, Christopher Lee's Dracula, Pan's Labyrinth, Q - The Winged Serpent, The Evil Dead, Hellraiser, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Arthur Grimsdyke, Scanners, Dr Phibes, The Curse of the Werewolf, The Birds, Barbara Steele, Young Frankenstein, The Pit and the Pendulum, The Cabinet of Dr Caligari, The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms. Carrie, Psychomania, Asylum, Poltergeist, From Beyond the Grave, Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956), The Quatermass Experiment, The Omega Man, Eraserhead, Theatre of Blood, Night of the Hunter, Cape Fear, etc etc etc.

apcomics Featured By Owner Jun 5, 2014
brilliant image, but does King Kong really count as a horror (infact there a few that are questionable)
DesmondNichals Featured By Owner Oct 25, 2014  Hobbyist General Artist
same applies to godzilla and the walking dead. seriously, no hate, but its a little too drama-like to be counted as a true all out horror at this point, and anyone who can truly say that King Kong and Godzilla scares them needs to see a freaking therapist.
Harnois75 Featured By Owner Jun 6, 2014  Professional Traditional Artist
Probably not. The original Pictorial History of Horror (1973) featured more of the familiar classic horrors on the front cover and a wider range of genre characters on the back, including Harryhausen films and Raquel Welch from One Million Years BC amongst others, so I went for a similar flavour to the wraparound cover for a 2014 revamp.

Just fantastic...really impressive details. Have seen a few of these highly detailed horror icon collages on Deviantart, been planning on trying one myself in fact, but this is the best I've seen so far.
