That said, the Engineers are about 8 feet tall, and the Alien in the first film was 7 and a half feet. You've got this thing at 12-13 feet tall. That said, the artwork itself is beautifully done.

Well it's possible that Deacons are naturally this big when they mature, but the engineers altered them to were only one female and male in a group will reach sexual maturity while the others would stay small and easier to handle, which eventually resulted in the monarchy like behavior in the Xenomorphs.

I'm willing to bet this is the mature form, so being much larger is reasonable. Xenomorphs bear little resemblance in shape or size to adults when they first emerge, as well. B)

I suspect that the end goal of the development of the bioweapon was to create the thing on the wall above the "alter," which appeared to have religious significance.

I think you're on the right track, but I think that maybe "the deacons" weren't always a bio-weapon, here let me explain.

I was thinking that maybe the deacons were another branch on the evolution of the xenomorph, maybe a split in the family tree. But this idea got me thinking, what would happen if the deacons and other xenomorph came clashing together, this could be the premise of of a Prometheus 2, but then I thought, why should the deacons, xenos, humans and engineers get all the fun, why not add in the predators, and not just the normal ones, the berserkers too.

So this lead to the idea of aliens vs. predators 3, all I got so far for the script is a time (2104 January 10th), and a place (engineers home world).

I would like suggestions if anyone has any.
