Dalek: Why have the human beings been allowed to get so near the river?! Ian: Doctor that voice! Roboman: No explanation Dalek: Where is the robo patrol for this section?! Roberman: Not known Dalek: You will take its place until it is found!, the human beings are to be taken to landing area 1 Ian: Daleks on earth!, Doctor how did this happen...
This has to be one of the longest episodes I know, To me it is one of those episodes you have to have a lot of time and be in the mood for.
In this story there were "robomen" who were humans enslaved by the Daleks. They did march around in perfect unison (breaking a wooden spaceship ramp in the process, according to the commentary) but if I remember rightly they didn't talk at all, and carried guns.
This broke my brain when I first saw it in the cliffhanger. For some reason my head couldn't wrap around the idea of Hartnell-era Daleks being able to go underwater so even though I was watching the episodes back to back I was left screaming "WHAAAAAT? WHAAAAAAAT? WHAAAAAT?" at the screen.
Main point is, it's AWESOME to see this in such an epic painting form.
