You have TOTALLY melted my mind with your work, not just in this image - which is so real its inspiring, but with the gallery in general. It also nice to see a fellow Dr. Who and science fiction fan. I'm sure I have seen your work someplace else, do you work commerically perhaps?

feels like those ponys should have drop tanks on them, but still an amazing scene. Excellent stuff!

Yes I considered that, they could have dropped them already of course. ;-)

Love this one- it's the vapor trails that make it for me. You really did your homework too (as evidenced by the stripes on the Mustang). You got any other WWII stuff ya haven't posted yet???

I thought I did my homework at the time, but I have a feeling B17's might have given up the green camouflage by mid 1944. Got a tank picture coming - Battle of the Bukge.

Oh yeah, the Sturmpanzer, right? I think I saw the Facebook conversation where that was commissioned (and for a recognizable name, if I remember correctly)!

You said a while back you were looking for WWII vets with interesting stories. Can't help you there (only ones I know are 'Nam vets). But if you're looking for some interesting material- the Battle of Kursk is pretty ripe. The siege of Leningrad too- though that's more about people than badass armor and aircraft...
