Painted in 1990, an interpretation of where Doctor Who could have gone, with the character of the 8th Doctor played by David Troughton and the companion - Kate - played by Samantha Lewis.
I remember reading somewhere that Paul Cornell tried to launch David Troughton as the Eighth Doctor in the Virgin New Adventures, once they had run out of places to take Seven in the books. It got as far as a photocall before the BBC nixed the idea. Apparently he would have been done as a Doctor who was physically imposing, but was internally gentle and fragile, which is an interesting dynamic that hasn't really been attempted on the show before.
Interesting concept... I love it!
And not surprising how he looks like a younger Second Doctor.
This would have been awesome! Excellent. Your work is awesome!
I love your work, this stuff is awesome. Oh the Doctor Who that could have been, if I ever find the lowlife, small-minded, idiot who is responsible for canceling the original show, I swear to all my fellow Dr Who fans that murder will be done that day.
Interesting concept. He looks eerily like a taller, somewhat neater version of his father. But the bow tie is still there.
Amazing, truly amazing. 10/10 Stars.
Huh. What an interesting thought... and a logical extrapolation.
very awsome and nice look I wonder how seven regenerated in your version?
Wow, love your alt Eight Doctor! Stunning job, love the surfaces on the Dalek!
Beautiful. I would have liked to see this rather than the TV movie.
Holy crap! This is amazing!!!!
