Heavy plant crossing by Harnois75 Heavy plant crossing by Harnois75
One of the first things I did for Doctor Who Magazine. Can't remember what it was called but it was either from a book or unmade script by Marc Platt.

Basically the Seventh Doctor is held captive by Brian Blessed, playing a Russian, whilst two peasants force him towards an electrified plant.

Weird piece, not entirely happy with it by any means, but the Doctor's dapper shoes are ok.

Now I need to see this story. How did they electrify a plant anyways?

"Basically the Seventh Doctor is held captive by Brian Blessed, playing a Russian, whilst two peasants force him towards an electrified plant."
This, and your painting, could quickly sum up Doctor Who.

In small view, I was sure this was gonna be a sequel to Seeds of Doom.

the plant reminds me of the one in the Carol Burnett Show that beats on the customers.

Woah, my eyes are immediately drawn to BRIAN BLESSED, ignoring both the Doctor and the plant. Now that a magnetic personality.

I remember the picture in DWM... for some reason in my mind I associate it with "Falls the Shadow" by Daniel O' Mahony, though I have no idea why.

This totally reminds me of an Arthur C. Clarke short story I've just read called 'The Reluctant Orchid' :XD:
