The Green Death by Harnois75 The Green Death by Harnois75
Promo style compostion for the Dr Who Story ' The Green Death ' - (1973) Starring Jon Pertwee. Often refered to as the one with the giant maggots, this was also the last story to feature the companion Jo Grant.

This was one of my favourite stories with Pertwee! :)
I love the colours and composition of this piece! Simply magnificent!

Isn't this also the one from which the famous line about five rounds rapid comes from? I can't remember.

I loved this serial! It was so classically Three. :-) I love how serious he looks in this image, and the giant maggots are great

I think the line you're thinking of is TEN rounds rapid, which the Brigadier does say. The famous one is five rounds rapid from The Dæmons, though.

I think the five rounds rapid line is usually attributed to The Daemons - one of the perils of being a who fan is retaining trivia like that.

Thanks. I've always had a soft spot for this story.
