I don't know who Tony Stark is, it was based on a pic of Simon Phillips - drummer with Jeff Beck, The Who, and a hundred other bands of the last 30 odd years.

very nice. i like the realism. what was your medium and how did you do that gorgeous skin texture?

Hi, Thanks.

Hair, face and tie were painted in Gouache, the rest was filled in using Paint Shop. Skin texture is I think mostly down to the way gouache goes down on the board, plus using a small brush and building up quite a few skin tones with little dabs.
